Tips to insuring you are caring for your jewelry:

1. Avoid heat as this may cause tarnishing. 
2. Avoid swimming and taking showers with your jewelry on.
3. Wear your jewelry after applying perfume, makeup, sunscreen, sprays, etc. 
4. When you are not wearing your jewelry, be sure to store it in the box/pouch it came in. This helps to maintain the color and prevent scratching.

GOLD VERMEIL ( vehr-may)

Gold Vermeil is considered as the best quality under solid gold.

To be considered vermeil, the base material must be sterling silver (925), plated in 18k gold and have a thickness in gold of 2.5mm.

Your gold vermeil and silver jewelry should be kept in a dark, cool and dry place. With time and wear, sterling silver will naturally become oxidized and eventually tarnish.
